Post-surgical treatment depends on healing stage and surgeon approval. Typically we wait for incision healing and medical clearance before applying myofascial techniques. Bring surgical notes and clearance; therapist will use gentle approaches and collaborate with your medical team as needed.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to treated areas. You may undress to your comfort level; draping preserves privacy. The therapist will instruct how to position clothing for specific areas and will adapt techniques accordingly.

Contraindications include active infection, open wounds, deep vein thrombosis, certain recent fractures, and acute inflammation. Pregnant clients, cancer history, or cardiovascular conditions require screening and physician clearance. Your therapist will review medical history and modify or decline treatment when necessary.
